We have refined our ordering process to make placing orders easier and faster. When you open an account on our web site and place an order, we'll remember your information for future purchases so you don't need to enter it again. If you don't wish to establish an account, we can take your order over the phone. Of course, every purchase you make is backed by Natural Pigments's Safe Shopping Guarantee.


How to Place an Order—New Customers

Placing an Order on the Web Site

Placing your first order with Natural Pigments is easy. Just follow these steps to order any of our great products online:

  1. Click on any item you'd like to buy. You can click on an item's picture or descriptive link. You'll be taken to that item's Product Detail page. On the Product Detail page, you'll see a detailed description of that item. You also have the following options on most Product Detail pages:
    • If the item is a Gift, check the Gift Wrap box before leaving the Product Detail page.
    • You can send a friend or associate the link to this Product Detail page by clicking on "Email to a Friend."
    • You can save this item for future reference to a Wish List by clicking on Add to Wish List.
  2. Click Buy This Item Now to add that item to your Shopping Bag. To view the contents of your Shopping Bag at any time, click on the "Shopping Bag" link at the top of the page. When you're ready to check out, just click Checkout. You'll see the items you've added to your Shopping Bag along with the total price and the amount you save by shopping with Natural Pigments. At this point you have several options:
    • If you're changing the Quantity, use the Quantity box to change the Quantity and then click Update.
    • If you're removing an item, click Remove [-].
    • If you have a coupon enter the coupon code in the field marked "Enter Discount Code." We will verify that your discount information has been received. For more details on using coupons, see the section Coupons.
  3. Click Checkout when you're ready to place your order, and you'll be prompted to provide your customer information.
  4. On the Customer Information page, enter your name, company name (if applicable), billing address, phone number, fax number (if applicable), and email address.
  5. Enter your shipping address, if it is different from your billing address.
  6. After entering your customer information you have several options:
    • Choose a shipping method for your order. You can view the shipping costs for various shipping services by clicking on View Rates. For more information on the shipping services we provide, see the section Delivery Times, Shipping Rates and Taxes.
    • Select a payment method. You can chose from among several payment options. For more details, see the section Payment Options.
  7. Enter any special instructions that you have for us in the Special Instructions field, such as if you want us to ship all items at the same time or as they are available. See the section How to Order Items with Different Available-to-Ship Times.
  8. Create a password for future visits.
  9. Click Continue to go to the Payment Information page. You'll find a summary of your order, but you will still have an opportunity to make changes from this page before you submit your order. You can now enter your payment information based on the payment option you selected in the previous page. If you have a Gift Certificate, you will be prompted to enter your information. We will verify that your Gift Certificate has been received.
  10. Click Continue and you'll be taken to the Confirmation page. This is the last step. Be sure to click this button!

You're done! We'll display a Confirmation page with your order number for your records. You may also print this page. We'll also send a Confirmation Email for your records.

Placing an Order by Phone

If you do not wish to establish an account on our web site, you can still order by calling 1-888-361-5900 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday. If you are calling from outside the United States, dial +1-707-459-9998. Please have ready your credit card and an email address where we may contact you.


How to Place an Order—Returning Customers

Returning customers find that ordering is even simpler with our checkout system. If you have signed in, the Customer Information conveniently displays your previous billing and shipping information when you checkout, so that you can make changes or add new information. If you have not signed in, the Customer Information page will display a customer login at the top of the page. This allows you to login so that the Customer Information page will conveniently display your previous billing and shipping information. Once you are at this page, you follow these simple steps:

  1. After verifying your customer information you have several options:
    • Choose a shipping method for your order.
    • Select a payment method.
  2. Enter any special instructions that you have for us in the Special Instructions field, such as if you want us to ship all items at the same time or as they are available.
  3. Click Continue to go to the Payment Information page. You'll find a summary of your order, but you will still have an opportunity to make changes from this page before you submit your order. You can now enter your payment information.
  4. Click Continue and you'll be taken to the Confirmation page. This is the last step. Be sure to click this button!

You're done! We'll display a Confirmation page with your order number for your records. You may also print this page. We'll also send a Confirmation Email for your records.

How to Change Your Account Profile

When you make a purchase at Natural Pigments, we change your Account Profile automatically from the billing, shipping, and payment information you provided on your last order. To change your settings, follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on the "My Account" link at the top right of any page, if you are not signed in you will be asked to sign in with your email address and password.
  2. Once in the "My Account" page, click "My Profile" to see your current settings.
  3. Enter your new information.
  4. Click on the Update" button.

Your account will be updated so you can start shopping with your new settings right away!

If You Forget Your Password

We ask all of our customers to supply a password when they create an account. If you ever forget your password, just call Customer Assistance at 1-888-361-5900, tell us your name and email address, and we'll provide you with your password; or click here to have us email your password to you.

How to Cancel or Change a New Order

To cancel or change your order, simply wait for your Confirmation Email. Once you have received your Confirmation Email, you can call 1-888-361-5900 or email Customer Assistance to change or cancel your order. If you change or cancel your order by email, make sure to include your name, email address, order confirmation number, and the product you want to cancel in the email. How to Order Items with Different Available-to-Ship Times

If you buy items with different availability—for example, an item available for shipment within 2-3 days and an item available for shipment within 1-2 weeks—you will have two options:

  • Send everything together—This helps you to minimize shipping costs by holding the shipment of your order until all items become available. However, you may have to wait longer to receive your order. In rare cases, we may ship your items in separate packages, but you will incur no additional shipping charges. (Note that the Special Order items are always shipped separately.)
  • Send items as they are available—When you choose this option, each item will be shipped to you as it becomes available. You will pay the shipping costs for each package, but we make every effort to combine shipments so that you receive your order as quickly as possible while minimizing shipping charges. Please note that in the state of California, the final shipping amount may increase the tax charged for the order.

To select which method you want simply add a note as noted above in bold type in the Special Instructions field during Checkout. If you do not provide us with instructions we typically ship your order when all items in the order are available.


How to Cancel or Change an Order

You can cancel or modify your order as long as the order has not been shipped. To cancel or modify an order:

  1. Click on Order Status at the bottom of the page. If you are not already signed in, you will be prompted to enter your email address and password.
    —An Order History screen will be displayed listing your order(s), including those in process and those completed.
  2. Click on the Order Number to check the status of the order you wish to modify or cancel.
    —A detailed list of all the items in your order will be displayed.
  3. If the order has not been processed for shipping then call 1-888-361-5900 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, and we'll adjust your order. If you are calling from outside the United States, dial +1-707-459-9998.
  4. When you are finished, click on Continue Shopping.

Verifying That Your Order Has Been Canceled or Changed

You can review your Order Status at any time, but be aware that changes you have made to your order may not be reflected for up to four hours, particularly during peak shopping periods.

If Your Order Has Already Been Shipped

If your order has entered our shipping process, it cannot be canceled. However, you can return the order within 30 days from the date of shipment, and we will provide the appropriate refund. For more information on returning merchandise to Natural Pigments, see our Refund and Returns Policies.

If You Ordered by Phone

If you placed your order by phone with a Customer Assistance representative, it will not appear on the Order Status page immediately. Please call 1-888-361-5900 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, and we'll adjust your order. If you are calling from outside the United States, dial +1-707-459-9998.
