These historical fresco pigments represent the basic set of hues used in many Medeival and Rennaissance wall paintings.

The kit includes all the popular palette colors: blue, green, yellow, red, brown, black and white. The pigments come in an boxed set that makes an excellent starter kit to painting frescoes, as an introduction to making your own frescoes, or as a great gift for the student.

How Long Do Pigments Last?
All pigments except Bianco di San Giovani (lime white) can be ground with distilled water and kept in the same jars under a layer of water indefinitely. Bianco di San Giovani must be ground fresh with water on the day of painting.
