ALLINPANEL™ Acrylic-Primed Linen ACM Panel
Artefex Allinpanel is a professional panel for oil and acrylic painting with 100% linen canvas acrylic-primed in Italy and adhered with BEVA 371 film to a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. This item does not qualify for free shipping.
Artefex Allinpanel™ is a professional panel with 100% linen canvas, acrylic-primed in Italy and adhered with BEVA 371 to a two-sided aluminum composite panel.
The panel is a lightweight but rigid and durable aluminum composite material (ACM)—two strong sheets of aluminum bonded to a solid polyethylene core. The panel is coated on one side with a white polyester finish and a mill (polished aluminum) finish on the other side. This panel is 3mm thick and is available in sizes from 8x10 to 20x24 inches. This weather-resistant panel is ideal for a wide range of paint mediums including these:
• Acrylic
• Oil
• Oil-alkyd
Artefex Allinpanels offer a superior support for painting compared to wood panels because ACM panels have very low response to environmental changes, such as relative humidity (RH) and temperature.
What are Aluminum Composite Panels?
Allinpanel is made using lightweight but rigid and durable aluminum composite material (ACM)—two strong sheets of aluminum bonded to a solid polyethylene core. The panel is coated on one side with a white polyester finish and a mill finish (polished aluminum) on the other side. The panel is 3mm thick (without the canvas) and is available in sizes from 8 x 10 to 20 x 24 inches. Weather-resistant Allinpanels are ideal for a wide range of paint mediums.
Artefex Allinpanels offer a superior support for painting compared to wood panels because ACM panels have very low response to environmental changes, such as relative humidity (RH) and temperature.
Acrylic-Primed 100% Linen Canvas
Acrylic-primed (sometimes called “universal priming”) Allinpanels are available with 100% linen canvas with a plain weave in fine and extra fine textures. Universally-primed Artefex canvas panels are primed with four coats of acrylic binder and titanium dioxide and zinc oxide pigments.

Why BEVA 371 Adhesive?
BEVA 371 is an adhesive used in conservation to mount canvas and paper to rigid supports. BEVA 371 was developed by Gustav Berger, a renowned conservation researcher, after initiating a research program investigating lining adhesives for paintings. A series of formulations were developed, composed of a combination of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), waxes and ketone resins. After subjecting the combinations to accelerated aging environments involving heat- and light-aging, the best combination was selected—BEVA 371. Many studies have shown BEVA 371 to be an excellent adhesive. It adheres well, remains flexible and is soluble to solvents that do not damage oil paint. One of the many advantages of BEVA 371 is that it does not cross-linking over time and that, if used properly, it can be easily removed from fragile artwork without staining or damage. In other words, the adhesive is reversible, so that if the panel should become damaged the canvas can be removed without damage to the painting.
