Joshua LaRock: The selected list of materials is an integral part of my working palette and it has been selected for fast drying time so that your progress in the workshop may run smoothly without the added difficulty of having to work over still wet or tacky paint. The oils that bind these pigments and that will be used as a medium also exemplify quick drying times.

Joshua paints on Artefex Allinpanel at his workshops. This is a professional panel for oil painting with 100% linen canvas lead oil-primed and adhered with BEVA 371 film to a two-sided aluminum composite panel, consisting of two aluminum sheets laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core. This panel is 3mm thick and is available in standard sizes from 8 x 10 to 20 x 24 inches. Select the recommended size above for the workshop.

	820-104	2	Rublev Colours Ultramarine Blue (Green Shade) is an intense deep blue with greenish-undertones when mixed with white from inorganic pigment of sodium aluminum silicate composition. It is a transparent, fine grained color with high tinting strength.
	820-303	1	Rublev Colours Blue Ridge Yellow Ocher is a semi-transparent golden yellow, very fine grained and has a buttery consistency. Our yellow ocher is a single pigment color made of natural earths from ocher deposits in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia.
	820-371	4	Rublev Colours Transparent Yellow Iron Oxide is warm brown color in masstone that makes clean bright yellow tints in glazes. This color can serve as an alternative to Stil de Grain or Dutch Pink in other paint brands.
	820-310	4	Rublev Colours Chrome Yellow Primrose is lead chromate/lead sulfate, obtained synthetically as a yellow crystalline powder by precipitation from a solution of a lead salt. Chrome yellow primrose has good hiding power with bright yellow hue and average tinting strength.
	820-341	7	Rublev Colours Lead-Tin Yellow (Type II) is an semi-opaque bright yellow, fine grained with medium tinting strength. Our lead-tin yellow is made according to historical recipes.
	820-403	4	Rublev Colours Orange Molybdate is a brilliant orange made of lead chromate and lead molybdate and used in plastics, protective coatings and printing inks, but rarely as an artists' paint.
	820-508	10	Rublev Colours Vermilion is an intense red found in historical painting since antiquity. It is opaque, has good tinting strength and smooth grained.
	820-542	7	Rublev Colours Cadmium Red Light is a highly saturated, orange red with excellent lightfastness. This is opaque red features very high tinting strength and moderate drying properties. This color can substitute for Vermilion.
	820-512	4	Rublev Colours Alizarin Crimson is a translucent bluish red with high tinting strength, fine grained and a 'short' buttery paint.
	820-522	4	Rublev Colours Transparent Red Iron Oxide is deep red color that makes clean bright orange red tints in glazes. Makes brighter tints than red iron oxides.
	820-610	1	Rublev Colours French Raw Umber is a semi-transparent, deep greenish brown with good tinting strength, fine grained and, like most Rublev Colours Artist Oils brushes long in the direction of the brush stroke.
	820-803	5	Rublev Colours Lead White #2 in walnut oil is an opaque white that is soft and very stringy. Lead White #2 is a slower drying white than our #1 flake white (also known as Cremnitz white) that is ground in linseed oil.
	820-820	4	Rublev Colours Lead Titanium White combines the excellent filming properties of lead white with the high opacity of titanium white in one oil paint. The paint is unusually smooth and slightly ropey in consistency.
	820-903	1	Rublev Colours Bone Black is an semi-opaque black with good tinting strength, fine grained and brushes long in the direction of the brush stroke.
	820-906	1	Rublev Colours Roman Black is single-pigment color comprised of a natural black earth; a dense, opaque, heavy color that is permanent.
