Aurum gold leaf is our own brand of high quality leaf product. This leaf is manufactured specifically in the colors and weights that are standard in the industry. This leaf is produced using the latest technology and respected traditions of the gold beating craft.
Patent gold leaf, also referred to transfer gold leaf, is gold leaf mounted on a special tissue paper by a pressure process. A book of patent gold leaf is assembled by placing each unit of gold leaf between sheets of thin rouged paper. The gilder can then remove one leaf at a time without disturbing the remaining leaves.
Our gold leaf is made in the standard European size of 80 x 80 mm (3.15 x 3.15 inches) and is available in units called "books," each book containing 25 leaves.
