Safety and Toxicology

PrimaTone Titanium White is made with titanium dioxide, calcite, and wollastonite—materials recognized for their inert nature and minimal risk under typical artist use. This product does not require hazard labeling under ASTM D4236.

The oil-modified alkyd binder includes a small amount of hydrotreated petroleum distillate, a low-odor, high-flashpoint aliphatic hydrocarbon. Present in a concentration below labeling thresholds, it assists flow and brush handling without triggering chronic hazard requirements.

As with all oil-based paints:

• Avoid ingestion

• Do not sand dried paint films

• Use in a well-ventilated area

• Wear gloves if skin sensitivity is a concern
