The bullnose pointing trowel is for polishing the final layer of plaster just prior to transferring the cartoon and for polishing the painted fresco. It is also useful for applying plaster in tight or curved areas. Pointing trowels are handy tools for patchwork and for cleaning other tools.
The blade, post and tang is forged from a single piece of high-grade tool steel for maximum strength. The hardwood handle is held in place by a polished steel ferrule. The handle rise is set for the correct "hang" and balance. The blade is taper-ground and polished to give it the right amount of flexibility.
